Which checked products cost less?

We checked the linked retailers’ product pages on 13 October 2026. Prices are for private customers, including VAT. This is a snapshot of selected products, not a promise of the lowest price anywhere in Copenhagen. Availability varies between branches.

Compare price, dimensions and quantity together. Rolls with matching dimensions can differ in quality. A low-cost box is not automatically suitable for heavy or fragile contents: follow its load guidance and keep it manageable to carry.

02 · Moving boxes

Moving boxes: compare dimensions and cardboard.

Harald Nyborg’s 4 mm senior box is DKK 10, the lowest single-box price among these four selected senior boxes. The jem & fix version is DKK 10.50 with the same stated internal dimensions. BAUHAUS is DKK 12.95; Bilka’s brown senior is DKK 15 individually. Check the current basket for quantity offers.

A smaller box is often easier to handle for books and other heavy items. Harald Nyborg’s junior costs DKK 6, but it is smaller and should not be treated as an equivalent senior box. The 7 mm senior boxes at Harald Nyborg and jem & fix both cost DKK 12; their dimensions and construction are not identical.

03 · Film and tape

Bubble wrap, stretch film and tape have different jobs.

A 50 cm × 10 m bubble-wrap roll costs DKK 25 at Harald Nyborg and jem & fix, compared with DKK 27.95 at BAUHAUS. Each covers 5 m² before overlap. Bubble wrap cushions suitable items; stretch film holds other protection in place.

For wide 23 μm stretch film measuring 40 cm × 200 m, jem & fix is DKK 99 and BAUHAUS DKK 109.95. Two narrow rolls at DKK 19 may be a smaller outlay for one small item, but they cover less area.

Bilka’s three tape rolls cost DKK 29 for 150 metres total, about DKK 0.19 per metre. The jem & fix Luxi roll costs DKK 26.50 for 66 metres, about DKK 0.40 per metre. Widths are 48 and 50 mm respectively, and adhesive quality can differ. Apply tape to packaging, never directly to furniture finishes.

04 · Paper and cardboard

Cardboard shields panels; paper separates contents.

Corrugated cardboard measuring 50 cm × 10 m costs DKK 35.75 at Harald Nyborg and jem & fix versus DKK 49 at BAUHAUS. A 70-metre roll at jem & fix is DKK 169: cheaper per square metre, but a larger purchase that only helps if you need enough of it.

Packing paper separates crockery and fills gaps. BAUHAUS offers 960 sheets of 40 × 60 cm recycled paper for DKK 209.95, about DKK 0.22 per sheet. As an extra option, Silvan has 150 sheets of the same size for DKK 99.95, about DKK 0.67 each. These are different products; check the paper’s properties and local availability.

05 · Moving blankets

A cheaper blanket may be a smaller blanket.

Harald Nyborg and jem & fix sell 150 × 200 cm moving blankets for DKK 18.75. BAUHAUS has the same stated size for DKK 19.95. Bilka’s DKK 15 blanket measures 100 × 150 cm and covers half the area. It costs less per blanket in this selection, but more per square metre.

Use clean, dry blankets compatible with the finish. Measure the item and allow for overlaps and corners. A 3 m² blanket will not necessarily cover every side of an item with a 3 m² surface area.

06 · Your shopping list

Buy for your move, not for the largest pack.

An example basket: 10 Harald Nyborg senior boxes at DKK 10, two blankets at DKK 18.75, one small cardboard roll at DKK 35.75, the jem & fix narrow-film twin pack at DKK 19 and Bilka tape at DKK 29 total DKK 221.25 in materials. This illustrates a shopping list; it is not a complete packing kit or a guarantee that the quantities will suit your move.

Measure large items, count boxes and check what you can reuse. Follow the product link, select a Copenhagen-area branch and check availability there before travelling. A small price difference rarely makes unnecessary materials a good purchase.

07 · Packing help

Packing yourself or arranging help?

With Teleporter, prepare and pack your belongings yourself unless you have agreed otherwise. Arrange packing help with the manager in advance so a suitable available team can be assigned. Materials are charged as agreed according to actual use; packing and unpacking take paid working time under the per-minute service.

Blankets, straps and a trolley are normally available in the vehicle for use during the job without a separate rental charge. They are not supplies delivered to your home the day before, and they must stay with the vehicle afterwards. Teleporter does not rent moving boxes.

• Where can I buy cheap moving boxes in Copenhagen?Among the checked senior boxes, Harald Nyborg’s 4 mm box has the lowest single price at DKK 10. Still check dimensions, suitability and stock at your chosen branch.
• Should I buy everything from one shop?Not necessarily. Compare the whole shopping list. A large pack can be cheaper per unit but cost more overall when you need only a little.
• Can I reuse boxes and blankets?Yes, if they are clean, dry and suitable. Reject damp or weakened boxes and keep dirty blankets away from delicate surfaces.
