It may be possible to ride with the Teleporter driver, but a passenger seat is not guaranteed. Availability depends on the assigned vehicle and the crew travelling in it. Confirm this before the trip, especially if you need to arrive to unlock the destination or help unload.

The essentials, in brief.

  • Ask about the assigned vehicle’s seats.
  • Include the booked crew in the plan.
  • Arrange timely access at delivery.

01 · Crew size affects available seats

Crew size affects available seats

Additional helpers may occupy seats that would otherwise be free. A larger load space does not automatically mean more passenger seats for you and your friends. Tell support how many people would like to travel.

Ask support or the driver to confirm the actual vehicle’s possibilities. Space among the furniture is not a passenger seat. Booking goods transport does not automatically book transport for a group of people.

02 · Plan the destination handover

Plan the destination handover

If you hold the only key, make sure your travel plan gets you to the delivery address in time. Otherwise nominate a person who can open and explain where the items should go.

A van full of furniture can end up waiting while you travel separately. Customer-related waiting during an ongoing local booking counts towards paid time, so think about the sequence before loading starts.

03 · Your carrying helpers need a plan too

Your carrying helpers need a plan too

If friends are loading and unloading, confirm how they will get between the addresses. Their availability at collection is not enough if you selected a service that also relies on them to unload.

For helpers hired without a Teleporter vehicle, arrange their travel with support in advance. Some arrive by bicycle; a plan to work at several locations needs explicit coordination.

04 · Have an alternative ready

Have an alternative ready

If passenger space cannot be confirmed, arrange your own travel. It may be easier to have one contact at each end than to move everyone together with the furniture.

For children or particular travel needs, do not rely on an uncertain seat. This option is not a promise of child seats or a separate passenger service. Explain the actual requirement early and use another travel arrangement if the vehicle cannot meet it.

Ready for moving day?

One final review.

  • Ask about the assigned vehicle’s seats.
  • Include the booked crew in the plan.
  • Arrange timely access at delivery.
  • Have another way to travel.
