Arrange IKEA furniture pickup in Copenhagen: check collection authorisation, ID, the order number, package sizes and carrying help at your home.
Someone else can collect your IKEA Click & Collect order when IKEA’s authorisation and identification requirements are met. Teleporter can provide the transport even if you cannot attend collection. You must make sure the order is ready and give the driver the information needed to receive it.

Authorise the actual person collecting
IKEA Denmark’s guidance allows authorisation by SMS. It must contain the order number, your full name and the full name of the person collecting. The collector also needs valid photo identification. Check the instructions for your particular order before the trip.
Confirm with Teleporter support who will collect before preparing an authorisation naming that person. An order number alone is not a substitute for the required authorisation. If the assigned driver changes, coordinate the details with support so that the collection can still go ahead.

Use the collection address in your confirmation rather than automatically sending the driver to the main store entrance. Explain where the goods are handed over and when the order is available. Do not book on the assumption that the packages will probably be ready.
Flat-pack dimensions can differ considerably from the assembled furniture dimensions. Find the number of packages and the largest package measurements in the product information. For several purchases, assess the whole load, not just the largest item. Send details to support if you need help choosing a vehicle.

Plan what happens at home as well
Choose transport without carrying help only if you organise the loading, unloading and carrying yourself. If you need delivery upstairs, book enough help for that work. Tell support about stairs, the lift and long corridors before collection rather than when the driver reaches your building.
The driver cannot verify the contents of sealed packages or guarantee that every small part is present. You resolve missing items with the retailer. Stay reachable during collection: if release of the order is delayed, waiting during an active local task counts towards its paid time.
