A van with a driver but no carrying help suits you if you and your helpers can carry, load and unload the belongings. You book transport with a driver, not a self-drive rental. This is the lowest-priced service type, but it needs a realistic handling plan at both addresses.

You and your helpers need to get everything to the van, load it and unload at the destination. Agree who will be available at each end. A friend who can only help at collection does not solve unloading at home.
Assess the heaviest and most awkward items honestly. If you need the driver for a lift, driving-only transport is not the right booking. Choose carrying help at the start or contact support about changing the order.

Pack belongings, gather loose parts and clear the route. If it is safe to bring items closer to collection beforehand, that may shorten the task once the van arrives. Do not leave furniture blocking access or exposed without protection.
Arrange a place for the van and have keys and contacts ready. Moving blankets, straps and a trolley can be used without an additional charge under the driver’s supervision. Return this reusable equipment to the vehicle after use.

For ordinary local transport, the minute rate depends on the vehicle. Your own loading and unloading count as task time, as does driving between the addresses. A booking with a vehicle has a 60-minute minimum charge.
The five free waiting minutes apply once at the beginning. If a helper is missing later or you still need to finish packing, paid time continues. Compare the rate together with the likely task time, not the rate alone.

It may be possible if a passenger seat is available, but it is not guaranteed. Mention the request in the booking and confirm the seat with support before the trip. Do not assume space for you and all your friends.
Arrange your own journey if a seat has not been confirmed. Someone needs to reach the destination in time to open and unload; the driver should not arrive at a locked building while all your helpers are still travelling.

Call support. Switching to a service where the driver carries requires the appropriate new booking; it is not a free addition to a driving-only order. Support can explain how to handle the change in your situation.
Extra people or a different vehicle depend on availability. Raise the issue early, especially if a heavy item cannot be safely moved by the people who are present.
