By default, the customer arranges protection for rooms and access routes unless otherwise agreed. If you want Teleporter to help, clarify this with support before the job. Explain which surfaces and areas need particular care.

The essentials, in brief.

  • The customer prepares protection unless otherwise agreed.
  • Protection must suit the surface.
  • Agreed work and materials may add costs.

01 · Review the route at both addresses

Review the route at both addresses

Check floors, doorways, corners and shared stairs. Disclose newly treated surfaces and building-specific rules. Ask the landlord or building manager about relevant requirements if you do not know them.

Remove loose objects from the carrying route and keep access clear. Protection must suit the surface and lie securely; it must not create a trip hazard or block a necessary passage.

02 · Match materials to the surface

Match materials to the surface

Follow the recommendations for the floor or chosen protection. Tape and coverings suitable for one surface are not automatically appropriate for another. If unsure, clarify materials and fixing methods instead of improvising on the day.

Moving blankets in the van are equipment for the agreed transport and must be returned. Their presence does not automatically include covering all rooms and shared areas. Tell support exactly what you want protected.

03 · When the team will help

When the team will help

Agree the work, materials and who will supply them. On a local per-minute job, laying and removing agreed protection takes paid time, and consumed materials may be a separate expense as agreed.

This division of tasks is not a complete statement of liability or insurance coverage for damage. It concerns preparation. If something is damaged, report the circumstances to support for separate handling.

Ready for moving day?

One final review.

  • Check the entire carrying route.
  • Disclose sensitive surfaces.
  • Clarify materials with support.
  • Keep access routes clear.
