YOUR STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

Need helping hands. Not a van.

Plan carrying help for your own vehicle, moving furniture between floors or rearranging your home. Define the task, access and number of helpers.

4 stages · start where it suits you

Stage 01

Describe the task

Helpers without a van can carry, rearrange furniture or load your own vehicle. Describe what needs moving and what you will handle yourself. Assembly or packing needs a separate arrangement.

Ready for the next stage: It is clear which tasks the helpers will perform.

Stage 02

Check weight, access and helpers

Mention heavy items, narrow stairs and long carrying distances. An undersized team cannot carry out an unsafe lift. Contact the manager if you are unsure how many people are needed.

Ready for the next stage: The team size suits the weight and access conditions.

Stage 03

Arrange time and all addresses

The minimum booking for helpers without a van is 120 minutes. If they will work at multiple addresses, arrange how they will travel between them with the manager in advance.

Ready for the next stage: Time, addresses and travel arrangements for the helpers are clear.

Stage 04

Prepare for the work

Have furniture and boxes ready and clear floors, doors and stairs. For loading, your vehicle must be accessible and suitable for the items. Have a contact person who can explain what moves and where it goes.

Ready for the next stage: Belongings, access and any vehicle you provide are ready at the start.
