Teleporter can help with packing and unpacking by prior agreement with support. Describe the need in your booking and contact support to find a suitable team. Packing is not automatically included in ordinary transport and carrying bookings.

The essentials, in brief.

  • Packing help requires agreement on tasks, materials and a suitable crew.
  • Packing and unpacking take paid working time.
  • Agreed packaging materials are charged for actual use.

01 · The agreement

Describe exactly what needs packing

Explain whether it is a few fragile items, all kitchen cupboards or the whole home. Also state whether furniture needs dismantling and whether you want unpacking at the new address.

Support must confirm the necessary people are available at your requested time. An app comment supplies useful information but does not replace agreement on a special task.

02 · Materials

Who supplies boxes and protection?

For an ordinary move, buy your own packaging and pack your belongings. Teleporter does not currently rent out moving boxes.

Teleporter vans should carry blankets, straps and a trolley for use without extra payment under the driver's supervision, remaining with the van afterwards. This does not mean every item can be fully packed with whatever materials happen to be on board.

If Teleporter agrees to supply packaging, support bills materials according to actual use. Clarify material requirements before the day.

03 · Working time

When do packing and unpacking count?

When the crew starts the agreed task at the address, working time counts. This includes agreed packing, carrying, driving and unpacking until completion.

The minimum is 60 minutes for a booking with a van and 120 minutes for helpers without a van. Packing can take substantially longer than moving already packed items, so describe the scope realistically.

04 · Special items

Mention fragile and valuable belongings separately

Tell support about glass, vases, lamps, art or other items needing special protection. Send photos and state whether you will pack them or need assistance.

The team may have to refuse an inadequately protected item. Do not rely on a blanket solving the problem on arrival. An advance agreement improves the opportunity to select appropriate materials and people.

Ready for moving day?

One final review.

  • Describe the rooms and items to pack.
  • Agree packing, unpacking and any dismantling.
  • Confirm a suitable team and materials with support.
  • Identify fragile and valuable items.
  • Keep personal essentials separate from items to pack.
