For one piece of furniture or a small move, compare the right van and the right number of people. Teleporter and 3×34 describe their pricing differently, so a single rate is not enough. This guide is written by Teleporter to help you compare a specific scope of work.

The essentials, in brief.

  • Billing intervals and minimum charges affect the total.
  • One driver is not automatically enough for your lift.
  • Compare the complete job including VAT.

01 · What does 3×34's private customer price list show?

What does 3×34's private customer price list show?

The public private customer price list, checked on 7 October 2026, is marked as effective from 4 September 2026 and inclusive of VAT. It distinguishes vehicles operated by one person from moving vehicles with two people. Some categories charge per started quarter-hour; others per started half-hour.

The table also lists minimum charges and distance components by category. Some van services describe a five-item limit. That is not a limit across all the company's jobs. Use the current price list and ask 3×34 directly to confirm the relevant category and total price.

02 · What are you comparing at Teleporter?

What are you comparing at Teleporter?

An ordinary local Teleporter transport job is billed per minute according to the chosen vehicle and help, with a 60-minute minimum. Helpers without a van have a 120-minute minimum. There is no minimum item count: even one box or one piece of furniture can be a job.

You choose whether to carry everything yourself, have the driver help or book additional helpers. Stairs and long carrying routes take more time; Teleporter has no separate floor or long-carry surcharge. Paid parking is, however, an expense the customer must cover.

03 · An example of a comparable request

An example of a comparable request

Describe the sofa's dimensions and weight, both addresses and floors, lifts and the distance to the van. State clearly whether you can help. Request enough carrying assistance and ask what happens to the price if the job takes longer than expected.

Then check billing intervals, minimum charges, distance, possible extras and VAT. A job that runs slightly beyond a time interval may be billed differently. This alone does not decide which provider is cheapest: vehicle, crew and total duration must also be comparable.

04 · Choose for the job, not just the starting rate

Choose for the job, not just the starting rate

Teleporter may suit a local job where you want to choose between transport alone and different levels of carrying help. If you can prepare and carry items yourself, reflect that in the comparison; do not compare it with a quote where someone else does all the work.

If the job needs specialist equipment or skills, confirm them with the chosen provider. Teleporter does not currently offer piano or safe transport. We do not give a blanket price ranking between providers: obtain current, comparable quotes before deciding.

Ready for moving day?

One final review.

  • Choose a comparable van and crew.
  • Read the minimum charges and billing intervals.
  • Check distance, VAT and extras.
  • Confirm specialist help before booking.
