A small move does not have one universal price. For local work, the chosen service and paid duration determine the charge, with a 60-minute minimum for a vehicle. The examples below explain the arithmetic; their durations are not estimates for your home.

The essentials, in brief.

  • Check the tariff for the selected service.
  • Apply the vehicle minimum when needed.
  • Treat durations as examples, not predictions.

01 · When you and your friends do the carrying

When you and your friends do the carrying

At the illustrated van-and-driver tariff of DKK 9 per minute without carrying help, a 50-minute task is charged at the minimum: 60 × 9 = DKK 540. If the task takes 85 minutes instead, 85 × 9 = DKK 765.

This service requires you to handle loading and unloading. Confirm that your friends can help at both addresses. A lower minute rate does not help if the booked arrangement cannot safely complete the furniture lift.

02 · When the driver assists you

When the driver assists you

At the illustrated helping-driver tariff of DKK 10 per minute, 100 minutes gives 100 × 10 = DKK 1,000. Choose this service if the driver is expected to carry, rather than asking a driving-only driver to change tasks on arrival.

One assisting driver is not a universal solution for every heavy bed or narrow staircase. Explain difficult items to support so the selected people match the task. The calculation does not guarantee a particular finishing time.

03 · When you book an additional helper

When you book an additional helper

At the illustrated tariff of DKK 12 per minute for a van, helping driver and one extra helper, 90 minutes gives 90 × 12 = DKK 1,080. These example tariffs include VAT; confirm the current selected tariff before booking.

The different example durations are deliberately illustrative, not a controlled comparison of crew speed. More people may reduce time, but this is not evidence that one option always produces the lowest total.

Paid parking and separately agreed packing materials can add costs. Waiting for access, carrying and journeys between addresses affect paid task time. Be ready before arrival and describe the whole task when asking support for advice.

Helpers without a vehicle have a 120-minute minimum and a different selected tariff. Intercity work requires an agreed fixed quote; do not extend these local examples into a long-distance transport estimate.

Ready for moving day?

One final review.

  • Check the tariff for the selected service.
  • Apply the vehicle minimum when needed.
  • Treat durations as examples, not predictions.
  • Allow for agreed separate expenses.
