You and your friends are welcome to help on a Teleporter move. Faster handling may reduce paid time on a local per-minute job, but the minimum still applies. Any saving depends on the task, rate and how effectively the help works.

The essentials, in brief.

  • Friends can reduce working time but do not guarantee a discount.
  • Choose the driver's role from the start.
  • Plan help for unloading too.

01 · Assign roles

Who does what while the van is there?

Some people can gather packed items near the exit while others carry as agreed. Keep routes clear so extra helpers do not simply get in each other's way.

A driver without carrying help means you load and unload the van yourselves. If the driver will carry too, select that service. Friends taking part does not automatically change the driver's task.

02 · Both addresses

Help needs to cover the entire move

Agree who will attend collection and who will be ready at delivery. Check this particularly for heavy furniture needing several people.

Do not assume everyone can ride in the van. Passenger space depends on vehicle and crew and must be clarified with support. Plan friends' transport so the team does not end up waiting for them.

03 · Minimum time

Faster does not always mean a lower bill

Bookings with a van have a 60-minute minimum charge. If two otherwise identical jobs both finish within that minimum, the shorter one is not automatically cheaper.

If friends reduce the duration of a longer job, that can affect the final price. Compare the same van and service, and do not assume a fixed percentage saving.

04 · If a friend cancels

Adjust the plan before lifting heavy items

Contact support if expected help falls through. Work may take longer with fewer people, or some items may not be safe to carry.

A driver booked without carrying assistance is not automatically a replacement for your friend. Support must help arrange an appropriate change or new booking; extra people depend on availability.

Ready for moving day?

One final review.

  • Confirm who will come and when.
  • Choose the driver with or without carrying help correctly.
  • Plan travel to the new address.
  • Have enough help for the heaviest items.
  • Account for the minimum time.
