Teleporter can transport belongings to and from a storage unit that you choose and book yourself. We provide transport and the selected carrying help, not storage space. Confirm the unit and access before reserving the moving time.

The essentials, in brief.

  • Reserve the storage yourself.
  • Confirm access at the booked time.
  • Use packaging that can stay with the goods.

01 · Book the storage independently

Book the storage independently

Check with the storage provider that the space is available and suitable for your belongings. Ask about access hours, entry instructions and restrictions on what can be stored. A transport booking does not reserve a unit or guarantee its capacity.

Measure or describe the load to the storage provider as needed. Support can help you assess the vehicle, but selecting storage size and agreeing storage conditions remain separate from the transport service.

02 · Describe the route to the actual unit

Describe the route to the actual unit

Give the facility address, contact person and entry instructions. Include long corridors, lifts, ramps and the distance from vehicle parking to the unit. Arriving at the building does not mean the carrying task is finished.

If you will not attend, arrange keys, codes or another contact with support beforehand. Stay available for questions and make sure the team knows exactly where the goods should go.

03 · Pack for the storage period too

Pack for the storage period too

Use packaging that can remain with the belongings and label boxes so you can identify them later. Tell the team which items need to remain accessible rather than placed behind everything else.

Blankets and equipment from the moving vehicle must return to it; they are not packaging you can leave in storage. Ask the storage provider about the unit’s conditions and arrange packing help and materials with Teleporter support if required.

04 · Choose help at both ends

Choose help at both ends

Think about access at home and at the storage unit. You may load yourselves, use driver carrying assistance or book additional helpers. The appropriate choice depends on the goods and whether you can help at both locations.

Ordinary local vehicle transport has a 60-minute minimum. Carrying and waiting for access count towards the task. Confirm the price arrangement with support if the addresses fall outside the normal local area.

Ready for moving day?

One final review.

  • Reserve the storage yourself.
