Your move.
Without doing the carrying.

You do not have to join the heavy lifting. Book a crew able to do the carrying and clarify any other tasks you need help with.

Yes, you can book a move where Teleporter's team carries everything without your participation. Choose a driver with the necessary additional help and explain that the crew must handle all carrying without you. Packing and dismantling require separate agreement.

The essentials, in brief.

  • You are not required to help carry.
  • The crew must be sufficient for your furniture and access.
  • Having everything carried does not automatically include packing or assembly.

01 · Booking

State clearly that you cannot help

Describe the task based on who will actually carry. If you cannot or do not want to lift, booked assistance must be sufficient without you. This applies at the seller's or old home and at delivery.

A driver alone may handle some light items, but not every piece of furniture. Let support assess uncertain lifts using photos, dimensions, weight and access. Do not choose a smaller crew hoping it will somehow work.

02 · Scope

Carrying, packing and assembly are different tasks

For ordinary carrying assistance, items should be packed and ready. If you also want packing, protection, dismantling or assembly, include this in the booking and agree it with support beforehand.

Support must find people able to perform the extra work. Working time is charged, and agreed packaging materials are billed separately according to use. Describe concrete tasks rather than simply writing 'everything included'.

03 · Preparation

What you can prepare without lifting

Arrange access, keys and contacts. Explain where furniture should go in the new home and keep passageways accessible. Arrange lawful parking as close as possible.

Disclose items that may not fit through doors or need dismantling. If something proves too heavy or impossible to get out, clarify the situation with support; booking a crew is not a promise that every lift is possible.

04 · If you are absent

Can you be away as well?

You can agree that someone else receives the team, or that the team gets keys or an access code. Clarify placement, handover and payment with support. Remain reachable by phone.

Request delivery photos beforehand if wanted. Absence and unattended delivery should be clearly agreed, not discovered by the crew at the door.

Ready for moving day?

One final review.

  • State that you will not help carry.
  • Clarify crew numbers for the most difficult items.
  • Agree any necessary packing, dismantling and assembly.
  • Prepare access and placement instructions.
  • Arrange receipt and payment if absent.
