One large load?
Or several trips?
Choose between a larger van, several trips or an extra crew. Understand how distance, access, time and availability affect a local move.

Several trips with the same van can be practical when everything will not fit at once. A larger van can reduce the number of journeys, but access, weight and actual capacity also matter. No option is always cheapest.
The essentials, in brief.
- Time continues during additional trips.
- A larger van still needs a capacity assessment.
- An extra van is a separate order.
01 · When do several trips make sense?
When do several trips make sense?
Over a short distance, loading, driving, unloading and returning can be manageable. Local task time continues throughout, including the empty return journey. Count the entire route, not just trips with goods on board.
Maintain access at both addresses throughout the job. A seller available only briefly or a reserved lift may limit the option of collecting the rest later that day.
02 · When should you consider a larger van?
When should you consider a larger van?
A large overall load or longer distance can make fewer trips worthwhile. Send support an inventory and photos if unsure. The dimensions of the largest indivisible item matter as much as overall volume.
A larger van is not a promise that everything will fit. The loading opening, payload and access must also suit the job. Do not convert a home's floor area into a guaranteed van size without a specific assessment.
03 · What about two vans?
What about two vans?
Support can check whether an extra van or crew is available. The second van is a separate order with its own charge. This may speed up the move but adds cost and coordination.
Consider whether both crews can actually work simultaneously. One narrow staircase or a small parking area may limit their usefulness. Discuss this in advance so the plan does not depend on an extra van that may be unavailable.

- Ask support which options are available.
