Measure before booking.
Need to transport a bicycle, cargo bike or e-bike? Provide dimensions, weight, access and battery condition so the vehicle and help can be assessed.
A bicycle may be a small transport job, but a cargo bike or e-bike needs more information than a bike count. Send support dimensions, weight and photos, and describe any battery. A booking does not automatically approve every size or battery type.

01 · Which measurements should you send?

Provide length, maximum width and height as the bike will travel. A cargo box, canopy or handlebars may determine a cargo bike's requirements. Include weight and model if known, plus side and front photos.
Describe stairs, basement doors, narrow passages and lifts at both addresses. A bike rolling easily on the street does not mean one person can safely lift it from a basement. Remove detachable parts only according to the manufacturer's instructions.
02 · What about an e-bike battery?

State whether the battery is installed, removed or accompanied by a spare. Danish Emergency Management Agency guidance distinguishes batteries installed in vehicles from other battery transport. Conditions cannot simply be transferred between these situations.
Teleporter does not carry damaged or defective batteries. Disclose known damage or problems before booking and await support's assessment of an e-bike with an intact battery. Do not remove a battery solely because of general online advice; follow the model instructions and clarify transport.
03 · Who prepares and carries the bike?

Remove loose bags and accessories not intended to stay attached and keep lock keys accessible. Describe delicate parts and packaging needs. The team must assess how to position and secure the bike without pressure on vulnerable components.
Choose help for the actual lifting required. Driver only means the customer loads and unloads. Arrange carrying help or special packing if needed. We do not promise that a particular cargo bike fits every vehicle.
04 · How is local bicycle transport priced?
How is local bicycle transport priced?
Ordinary local pricing depends on the chosen vehicle, help and task time. The minimum is 60 minutes with a van and driver. Moving just one bike does not remove the minimum. Intercity and cross-border jobs are agreed separately.
For a private purchase, arrange handover directly with the seller. Include the contact, address and instructions in the booking. This helps plan collection if you cannot attend.
