Teleporter can help transport furniture back to a shop, but you must arrange the return with the seller. The retailer's rules determine whether it accepts the item, required packaging and delivery location. Book once those points are clear.

The essentials, in brief.

  • Agree the return with the seller first.
  • Use the correct return location.
  • A refund is not guaranteed by transport.

01 · Arrange the return process

Arrange the return process

Contact the seller with the order number and describe the item and reason for returning it. Ask about the return address, timing, documents and who may deliver on your behalf. A shop may use a separate warehouse or returns point.

Keep replies and instructions, and send relevant details to the driver through the booking or support. Do not automatically use the purchase address. A driver cannot determine your refund entitlement at the counter.

02 · Prepare the item as agreed

Prepare the item as agreed

Follow the shop's and product's specific requirements for packaging, parts and accessories. Gather everything belonging to the purchase and provide the package count. Tell support if the item is damaged, large or difficult to handle.

Arrange dismantling or packing help beforehand if needed. Transport alone does not include packaging or technical dismantling. Also choose sufficient help to carry the item out of your home.

03 · Remain available during delivery

Remain available during delivery

Keep your phone available for questions about the order or return. The driver delivers according to agreed instructions, but acceptance and financial settlement remain between you and the seller.

Waiting counts during a local job. If the shop refuses the item, agree a new plan with support; do not expect an automatic free return to your home. A clear agreement before departure reduces that risk.

Ready for moving day?

One final review.

  • Obtain the shop's instructions.
  • Pack the item and accessories as agreed.
  • Send the order number and contact details.
  • Stay available during handover.
