Teleporter can arrange transport of old furniture or equipment to a recycling centre by prior agreement. You choose the receiving facility and confirm the trip with support. Applicable receiving fees are your expense and are not automatically included in the transport charge.

The essentials, in brief.

  • Choose a facility that accepts the items.
  • Confirm the receiving fee and billing method.
  • Agree attendance and payment with support.

01 · Check that the destination accepts the load

Check that the destination accepts the load

Confirm opening hours and whether the facility accepts your items under the planned delivery arrangement. Explain whether the load contains electronics, unusual materials or anything other than ordinary furniture.

Distinguish disposal from direct reuse. A usable chair, an old refrigerator and building waste can follow different receiving rules. Do not book a van first and leave the destination to be decided while the paid task is underway.

02 · Clarify commercial-vehicle charges

Clarify commercial-vehicle charges

A commercial vehicle can trigger number-plate-based billing. Fees and exceptions vary, so do not assume every trip is free or that all facilities charge the same amount. ARC’s published guidance distinguishes situations involving business waste and private waste deliveries.

ARC says it does not accept cash at exit and bills the business instead. That facility process is separate from how you settle costs with Teleporter. Agree with support how actual receiving expenses will be paid or passed on.

ARC: number-plate billing and payment (Danish)

03 · Agree whether you will accompany the delivery

Agree whether you will accompany the delivery

Discuss the practical handover and payment if you plan to attend, and confirm passenger availability separately. If you will not attend, support needs a clear agreement about the recipient, instructions and any advance payment or invoiced expenses.

Do not assume that giving the driver cash means the facility accepts that payment method. Clarifying the process before departure helps prevent an unsuccessful delivery and additional task time.

04 · Describe condition and lifting needs

Describe condition and lifting needs

Give the floor, access, size and weight of the items. Tell support about contamination, moisture or other unusual conditions before booking. This ordinary furniture guide does not promise acceptance of hazardous or contaminated loads.

For local minute-priced work, carrying, the journey and work at the receiving point form part of paid time. Prepare sorting and acceptance beforehand, and choose a team that can move the items safely.
